The Jaffer Building
The Jaffer Building on the corner of Jasper Ave and 4th Street Promenade Edmonton, AB, was built in 1967. Formerly known as the Valpy or Confederation Building, in its prime it was an architectural innovation through the use of glass and marble finishes.
The building had not seen any major renovations or improvements to its exterior since it was built nearly 50 years ago. This was an opportunity for Jaffer to not only update, but to make a bold and creative architectural statement on Jasper Ave and contribute to the revitalization of 104th.
